A typical symptom of failure is the sporadic inability for the door to lock or unlock while the other door locks work just fine.
Luckily the Chinese market produces an actuator that is identical for about $10-$11. Search eBay or another site for DLSM2.
The doorlock actuator wiring consists two wires; a blue and white. The Chinese market 2 wire actuator will typically have a green and a blue wire.
When removing the actuator you can cut the wiring off and splice the new actuator in its place.
Ensure the polarity of the wires matches your wiring by activating your locks to lock and to unlock and watch the motion of the actuator so that it matches the motion of your other locks.
Once you satisfied the electric operation is correct re-install your new actuator and assemble the inner door panel.
